Swim Ulster Primary Schools Cup & Championships 2025
The Swim Ulster Primary Schools Cup & Championships 2025 will take place at Lagan Valley Leisureplex, Lisburn on Saturday 1st March 2025 – this event is open to swimmers aged 9-12 years as follows:
Group 1 – Age 9 – Born 1st September 2015 to 31st August 2016
Group 2 – Age 10 – Born 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015
Group 3 – Age 11 – Born 1st September 2013 to 31st August 2014
Group 4 – Age 12 – Born 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2013
The age up date for this meet is 31.8.25 (this means that the swimmers will swim in the age group for the age that they will be on 31.8.25). Pupils in Year 8 who fall within the age groups may enter this Meet.

The timeline for the day will be as follows:
AM Session – 9-10 year old swimmers
Warm Up – 9 year old – Girls – 8.15am-8.30am
10 year old – Girls – 8.30am-8.45am
9 year old – Boys – 8.45am-9am
10 year old – Boys – 9am-9.15am
Start – 9.30am Sharp
PM Session – 11-12 year old swimmers
Warm Up – 11 year old – Girls – 1pm-1.15pm
11 year old – Boys – 1.15pm-1.30pm
12 year old – Girls – 1.30pm-1.45pm
12 year old – Boys – 1.45pm-2pm
Start – 2.15pm Sharp
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WARM UP TIMES ABOVE WILL BE IN THE MAIN COMPETITION POOL ONLY – THE DIVING POOL WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR THIS COMPETITION
WE REMIND ALL PARENTS THAT THE SWIM IRELAND TECH SUIT POLICY WILL BE IN FORCE AT THIS COMPETITION – NO TECH SUITS SHOULD BE WORN
We will be running a one way system between the Spectator Area and the Poolside – Access to the Poolside will be at the Diving end of the poolhall – Access back to the Spectator Area will be at the opposite end of the poolhall.
Parents / Guardians should ensure that swimmers are at the Marshalling Area in good time for their race (15 minutes before the scheduled time) – we will not wait for swimmers to arrive and will not be able to fit them in if they miss their swim.
THERE WILL STRICTLY BE NO PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT EXCEPT FOR SWIM ULSTER APPROVED PERSONNEL – THE PHOTO GUYS WILL BE PRESENT AT THE EVENT IF YOU WISH TO PURCHASE PHOTOS
As this will be a very busy day we would ask that you please ensure that you leave the area where you are sitting free from rubbish when you leave. All participants in Session 2 must have cleared the building by 6.30pm.
