The War Memorial Gala 2025 showcased impressive performances throughout the evening, with Bangor Swimming Club and Ards ASC dominating multiple relay events during heats and finals. Notably, Bangor took home gold in both male and female medley events and the prestigious War Memorial Trophy after winning the 6x50m Open Freestyle Relay, while Ards’ women secured standout victories in both the freestyle and medley relays.
The event highlighted the depth of Northern Ireland’s swimming talent, promising an exciting season ahead. Next up on the calendar, Ulster swimmers will travel to Lagan Valley Leisureplex to race at this year’s Ulster Short Course Championships (21st-23rd November).
