Safeguarding is also represented at governance level through the appointment of a Safeguarding Champion on the Swim Ulster Board.

Access NI

Please find below the documents required to apply for your Access NI – please note that these are the only forms that are accepted

To ensure that applications are completed correctly,  we have listed below what must be submitted.

    • All middle names must be included.
    • The Organisation Reference is the person’s Swim Ireland Membership Number.
    • Names on the application must match the documents used for identification.
    • The application is valid for 21 days.  If the forms and documents are not received within the 21 days, the application is invalid.
Documents to be submitted to Swim Ulster:

    • Section 1 – Swim Ulster must receive the signed and dated declaration.
    • Section 2 – The Swim Ireland membership number of the applicant, their club, and the role they are undertaking must be included.  Putting “swimmer” or “parent” is not a regulated role, is not accepted by Accessni, and therefore the application cannot be processed.
    • Section 3 – Identity Validation.  The original documents must be seen by the club officer signing the form.  If a PSNI Officer, Solicitor or Doctor is signing the form, they must also stamp it with their company stamp.
    • One document must show the current address of the applicant.
    • If a driver’s licence is one of the documents, then both parts must be shown and this counts as one document – either the paper part or a photo of both sides of the newer licences.
    • Copies of the forms and documents must be clear and legible.
The process is delayed if the forms are not completed correctly, are unsigned by official personnel, or some documents are missing.
